Are they pretty much the same guy?

I think Felton is a far more accomplished lead blocker.

Felton is considered one of the best blocking FB in the NFL.
Summers isn't.
That's all I can come up with lol

Shady didn't like Summers.
Felton coming in was Shady approved.
one of the top blocking backs, where Summers was not.

Yeah pretty simple, Felton is more established as a lead blocker. I know for one I am excited about bringing in the I formation and powering ahead instead of those stupid shotgun handoffs that never seemed to work under Marrone/Hackett

Felton, is, hands down, one of the best blocking FB's in the league. Has been for years. Summers is average, at best. Nuff said. Felton is a very good addition IMO.

I wish we still had the groan button.
Shady approved the move !?!?! Which Shady? The poster or the RB?
I dont care about the former and I doubt the latter was really asked, I mean asked in the sense of signing off.

Shady (the poster) likes to talk like Bob Dole. http://www.nbc.com/saturday-night-live/video/norm-macdonald-cold-opening/n10910

To be honest, Felton is simply better at his job than Summers. There's no reason to disrespect Summers in here. He was a decent player who made positive plays the few times he would get the ball.

Summers got cut before the season ended. We ditched him before Felton was even available.

The biggest loser in this is Adrian Peterson.

If you ask me, Felton might be the best sign by the Bills. We will see in the fall.
He can do just about everything well as a FB. It is him, not the guy in NYJ, that is a threat to unseat Jackson.

One is a good blocker and one is not. Pretty simple reasoning.

Joe Buscaliga said on WGR today that Felton is one of the 5 best blocking backs in the NFL.

Um. No. Jackson is not a fullback. Why would there even be a remote chance of Felton unseating Jackson? Felton had 4 carries last year. He's in Buffalo to strictly be a blocker.
Smh at the thought of a blocking FB replacing Fred.

Right. Marrone dumped Summers for Gray.
