Sounds good. I'd love to see Kyle Williams get a chance to reach the playoffs at some point.
Before this deal his cap hits were:
2015 - 6.4 mil

Well reports are cap will get over 150 next year, nothing past that. That being said we have some other contracts coming off the books next year and should be in adequate shape to resign Dareus, Glenn, and Bradham, and hopefully Gilmore the following year. This will probably result in some tough cuts and fan favorites not being resigned but this is what happens to good teams, good players leave. This is a good problem to have, but we will have to continue to draft well like we have.Comment

Why? Only a handful of current players are under contract beyond 2016 and Mario's cap hit goes down by $4 mil after that season. None of the other contract numbers look bad. They may actually look like bargains with the cap expected to take a big jump next season, which will likely cause contract numbers to grow significantly.Originally posted by Novacane View PostComment
