    Cassel's 10-5 seasons

MC has been credited with 10-5 twice in his career.

The first time, with the Pats, the team was #6 in the NFL in rushing.

The second time, with the Chiefs, the team was #1 in the NFL in rushing.

Conclusion: If we are a top-5 rushing team, we can win with Matt Cassel

Cassel won't be starter at onset... Book it.

Unless it's a 3-4 game teaching stint... a few crappy outings... Boom EJ is in

We also have a much better defense than those teams did.

          True.

How would you compare our OL to theirs?

I don't agree with this AT ALL. If I had to bet at this exact moment Cassel is the starter. Only if EJ comes in and is a whole new QB would he start for this team.

We won't be a top 5 rushing team without upgrading the OL.

No, the common denominator is he was running the same system in both those years. Hi coordinator s were McDaniells and Weiss

We managed to perform well enough to get to 9-7 with Orton as our QB. How bad can the OL be?

We've made a slight upgrade with Incognito and huge upgrade with Shady on the offensive side. I consider Cassel and Orton as equivalent talent. So overall... we have upgraded the offense.

They were 5th in the league in 2012 and he was booed off the field on a 2-14 team.

Sorry, I got to see him enough in KC. In 2010, everyone in Chiefsland was talking about how they got their franchise QB. That changed...rapidly.

Just another stop in the Matt Cassel pay-me-suckers tour. He and Orton have a bright future as CEOs or board members.

I'm not saying we will win. The numbers show it is at least a possibility, especially in year one as a starter.

If we can be a top 5 rushing team and have a top 5 defense, we'll go at least 12-4 with EJ. Book it!

I agree but we could improve the line by simply releasing Urbik and Williams.

What's funny though is that the ENTIRE line regressed under Marrone. That sounds like his coaching ability/scheme.
