LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. - Warren Sapp enjoyed every minute of his off-season, especially the night he sat with Michael Jordan at one of LeBron James' summer league basketball games.
"I told Michael that this world champion thing is pretty good," Sapp recalled. "Patrick Ewing, who was sitting behind us, said 'It's not world champion, it's Super Bowl champion.' Michael turned to Patrick and said, 'It's world champion, and that's what happens when you haven't won one.'''
Sapp and his Tampa Bay teammates joined that select group of players who have won one last January with their 48-21 pasting of the Oakland Raiders in Super Bowl XXXVII. And while the volatile defensive tackle would love to "rewind the whole off-season," the theme as the Buccaneers opened training camp Saturday is separating themselves from the teams that bagged a single title....
