Patriots just won the Super Bowl, right?

Remember the Bills traded Chris White to the Lions for that QB? What was his name again?

Patriots re-sign Chris White (http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/03/13/patriots-re-sign-chris-white/related/)
How is it that the personnel evaluators of the Bills found White dispensable for this throw-away QB (not to mention the same evaluators kept that guy over Travaris Jackson - the clearly better QB), and the Patriots entrusted him to be their sole back-up at MLB?

What the Patriots are doing with White is what they are about to do with Scott Chandler.

And why did they Bills dump Chandler to save a little over $2 million and they are going after a virtual unknown at TE who they will pay $8 or 9 million?

Yes, Chris White is why they won the SB. Not Revis, who is no longer with them.

I'm certainly no fan of the Clay fiasco, or cutting Chandler when they did, but CC really isn't a virtual unknown. Also, the Pats* re-signing White is about the equivalent of us bringing back Wynn. I really can't see BB and BK jumping up and down about losing Revis, Browner and possibly Wilfork but 'Woo-Hoo! We managed to hang onto Chris White! Whew...!"

He took some reps in one of the games against the Bills.

Charles Clay is a "virtually unknown TE"? Is this guy really qualified to write a football related article?

Must have been the last game when the Pats* were playing all their scrubs.

He took some reps in one of the games against the Bills. The game where they sat anyone relevant after the half? Makes sense ....
