Clay to Buffalo @ 90% Chance

"A source close to the situation insisted Monday that, despite the inactivity since Clay's visit to Western New York last week, the Bills' interest in him has not wavered, and they are going to follow through with plans to sign him to an offer sheet," The Buffalo News' Vic Carucci reported.
Carucci added, "The source put the Bills' chance of landing Clay at '90 percent.'

The longer they wait, the lower the price. Any moves Miami chooses to make eats Miami's available cap room, lowering the extent to which they need to front load and providing more leverage for a more Bills-friendly contract. Bills should not be in too much of a hurry.

That's a legitimate argument, if our only goals during FA are to sign a fullback, a gadget WR (no official word on that yet, though) and a receiving TE. Considering the switch in staffs and the status of the rest of the roster, I'm not real comfortable going 'all-in' on Clay. If this is a ploy by either or both teams, IMO Miami has the upper hand by allowing themselves the opportunity to fill holes on their roster, while keeping Buffalo out of the game, waiting and plotting.

Bills are calling Dolphins bluff. Dolphins want to dictate by keeping the tag on so Buffalo is forcing them to eat the cap hit. Clay surely has terms with Buffalo that he is happy with and that he knows no one else will match.

Dolphin media are all about keeping Charles Clay. He is a really good player. They ( fans and media) feel it as a loss if he goes.
