Say Bryce Petty drops out of the first round.

33. Tennessee passes, they have Zetasdfoijberger
34. Tampa passes, they took Winston
35. Oakland passes, they have Carr
36. Jacksonville passes, they have Bortles
37. Jets are up.
38. Washington
39. Chicago
40. NY Giants
41. St. Louis
42. Atlanta
43. Cleveland
44. New Orleans
45. Minnesota
46. San Francisco
47. Miami
48. San Diego
49. Kansas City
50. Buffalo

Do the Bills trade up in front of the Jets to take Petty?

You make the call!

No trade up. If he fell to 50 sure.

Gil Brandt tweeted that Rex Ryan was in Texas working out Petty last week. I'd love to know if that was before or after signing Tyrod Taylor. I hope it was after. I'd love to see as many QBs as possible in Training Camp.

Bryce Petty will be available when the Bills pick in Round 3, let alone Round 2.

I just saw Walterfootball projected him to go in the 4th round. Damn.

I doubt he'll last that long but he's likely gonna be the 4th or 5th QB taken...

Hundley might go in Round 2. And then it's between whoever likes Petty or Grayson better on which QB goes next, imo.

He won't last until our 3rd RD selection. If we want him, he comes in the 2nd.

If we get Clay, it gives us a lot more flexibility with what we can do with our 2nd. I know the Bills have their own board, so projecting who they have at 50 is a futile exercise. We just know that if they like him that much, they can take him without feeling there is a gaping hole on the roster.

As it stands right now, we have to look at FS and O-line with our 2nd RD pick.

If they pick him at 50 over an OL addition, I'll throw something at the TV.

Why FS? We have a few options at FS. Williams is most likely the FS as the returning starter there.

SS is the question mark. It could be Duke, Rambo or maybe a surprise camp performer from Ladler or Meeks.

Rex needs good safeties for sure to run his scheme but I think it's a position we can upgrade later in the draft. It's not a top heavy draft at the safety position either way. Just one guy (Collins) after that there is depth from rounds 3 and on.

The kid from Louisville is a ball-hawk so could get drafted in the second rd but doubtful.
