with only 2 days left till the rookies should be reporting to camp, i am very dissappointed to see that we still have 4 guys unsigned in WM, Kelsay, Crowell, and McGee.

i am not too worried about WM, but i really feel like it is important for the other guys to be there, especially Kelsay. all these guys could be playing key roles with our team this year.

is there any hope that TD can get 3-4 contracts done in 2 days?

i dont see it happening.

It sucks but hardly any other teams have their picks signed either. It's pretty sad the NFL rookie contracts have to come to this. It's never even been this bad before.

It's not good, but I'm not going to panic until camp actually starts.

I wish these rookies would wake up and realize they're only hurting themselves by not getting into camp. I can understand high-round draft picks holding out for more money, but when it's 4th-7th rounders, they only hurt themselves since camp is often their only chance to prove themselves.

I expect the rookies to sign pretty quick- all except McGahee.

I think TD has held off on the others to remain flexible in the McG talks. But once the rooks fly in, they will sign pretty quick. This happened last season with Big Mike- signed on the first day of camp. I beleive Reed signed a day or two previous.

It's all part of the game. Take a look at the news on KFFL for the Bucks. All the remaining picks signed on the day of reporting. GMs don't want to make the jobs easy for other teams by setting the bench mark early.

i have a survey on my home page which player who most likely be signed last. If Mario Haggan has signed I need to take him off poll. No one has picked him, last anyways.

TD will get them all signed before the end of the 1st week of TC.

Is it just me, or does everyone procrastinate in these regards of siging draftees? The day after the draft, negotiations should begin IMO.

You'd think so Jeff, but no one wants to set the market if they can help it. It seems like GMs want to just plug in a number just a few dollars more than the pick after theirs.
