    Devin Funchess...

Roman loves TE's. We were rumored to want Gresham before his knee surgery and even after we thought we had Clay. Another TE is probably a want.

Enter Funchess. A hybrid WR/TE. As a #2 TE can't he be a very unique receiving mismatch if used properly?

Haven't seen his name mentioned much. But here's a tweener type who could play the possession WR role or a legit receiving threat at TE.

    Any takers?

I'd rather add a blocker like Zach Miller.

I wouldn't think he does/would. But the comment on Gresham makes me think we aren't sold on Gragg or Gray and are still shopping.

And I agree with the thought on a blocker... we let Lee Smith leave.

We just invested $37.5M on a TE and we now want to waste our 2nd round pick on another TE?

Why not? Any fat ****ers can play OL.

Did we not "waste" three picks last year on OL?

Whaley was clear that BPA is likely to be the way we go in the draft.

It does appear we may have wasted 3 draft picks on a 5 position segment of our team.

Should we follow that up by wasting 1 more draft pick on a 1 position part of our team?

OR have you come up with some Madden scheme where you can play 5 WRs, 2 TEs, 1 FB, 1 RB, 1 QB and 1 Centre?

                So waste more?

I'm looking at the Roman scheme that seems to want 2 TE's.

Who knows what we will actually draft. I just can't say TE is off the table.

I liked him before we got Clay, but now he looks like a luxury pick. We're not in that position yet. Is he even BPA at our pick?

If this continues, BUF will have a roster with 20 receivers...I like shopping at the candy counter as well as the next guy, but c'mon...how many crutches do they need to buy to duck out of their qb problems?

I tweeted about him a few weeks ago. I would've preferred him to Clay,.
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"
"Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet.
You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
                        It was all
true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can
mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.
