One of the key parts of Buffalo’s revolutionary offense-without-a-quarterback might be on the shelf a bit this offseason.

According to Josina Anderson of ESPN, Bills wide receiver Sammy Watkins had a surgical procedure on his hip area “early this offseason.”

Watkins suffered the initial injury Nov. 30 against the Browns and dealt with it the rest of the season.

Why the snarky comment about the offense at the beginning of the article? What a douche.

Hopefully the procedure was to remove Revis from it.

Ironic. People were saying EJ was going to get his receivers killed & it was Orton that ended up doing that, not EJ.

Well, the irony is Goodwin was not injured on that play.

Hits happen in the NFL. That is what the defense is paid to do...hit the guy with the ball.

The irony is that he got a concussion and missed the next game. So yeah, that's getting his receivers killed.

OK you are correct, Goodwin did suffer a concussion.

But two things, one, despite what the announcer said, the ball was not thrown high, it was right at Goodwins chest level.

second, there is a rule about hitting defenseless receivers & that was clearly the case as Goodwin had his back to Weddle & did not see him coming.

EJ effectively ended Goodwin's year with that throw. :/
