The Bills Don't Have A True 3-4 Nose Tackle

Dareus plays better in a 4-3 defense. He's not a natural nose tackle. If he was, Pettine would have used Dareus at nose instead of Kyle Williams in 2013.

From the 4-3 under Wannstedt to the 3-4 under Pettine, to the 4-3 under Schwartz, and back to the 3-4 again the Bills have never had a true NT.

Jordan Phillips, Ellis McCarthy, Deon Simon, Terry Williams, David Perry?

Who is your favorite nose tackle in round 2?

    Pick the missing link.

You realize they only have 1 2nd round pick right.. Do you want a QB..a RB..or a NT?

That's like asking the million dollar question.

      Gotta' go with NT.

After signing Chris Williams last year, trading for Bryce Brown, trading this year's first round pick for Sammy Watkins, and taking Kouandjio in the 2nd round, I don't want Whaley anywhere near the offensive side of the ball.

The Bills have plenty of potential outside pass rushers.

      Cannon ball NT.

I had mentioned Pat Sims a couple of years ago. He was a victim of the numbers game at CIN, and went to OAK. CIN re-signed him - I'm surprised BUF didn't take a look-see...perhaps he's a spent force, but when he was with CIN, he was a big contributer to run D when he was in.

Center/Guard with the second round pick. Get over it.

              I've always assumed Dareus.

How many day one starting nose tackles were ever drafted in the second and finished in a top 5 defense their rookie year?

Next week BillsImpossible will start a thread asking if we can find a guy who can ironman as a halfback and a nose tackle.

What? 4 days you argued like crazy the Bills should draft a RB in the 2nd or 3rd Round because LeSean McCoy needs a backup.. and you'e also passionately in love with Brett Hundley another guy who is a 2nd Round pick

Carl Davis in the second, Kaleb Eulls or Tyeler Davison in the sixth. Jordan Phillips will be gone before 50.

Oh come on! 'Passionately in love with Brett Hundley?'

I liked him, never said I loved him. lol.

I may seem to be all over the map, but all I'm doing is trying to have fun and talk about football.

This has been the most interesting, crazy off season in Bills history.

The Bills 2nd and 3rd round picks could be a running back, a tight end, a quarterback, a nose tackle, a cornerback, a safety, or a linebacker.

That's crazy! When is the last time the Bills draft was so wide open and unpredictable?

Sorry, no punters or kickers, that would be too easy.

Who do you like at nose tackle, Ginger V?

Good question. I was going to say Haloti Ngata but he was drafted in the 1st round.

Are you talking about a linebacker? Nobody has entertained that thought yet.

                              Uh oh.
