    Robert Woods on NFL Sirrius says EJ will be starter......

    Now take this with a grain of salt. I heard this interview yesterday and they asked Robert Woods if he thought EJ would be the starter and he said "yes."

    He said Orton coming on the team actually helped EJ and he worked harder to be a leader on the team even though he wasn't on the field. There seems to be a theme on EJ's leadership qualities, or lack of....sounds like Losman all over again.

    I don't care if Woods say he's 1000% sure EJ is the starter I'm still sticking with EJ is gone before the season starts.

    Anyway it's some intel.

    I don't know. Whether EJ succeeds or not in Buffalo I don't believe it has anything to do with his attitude. He's worked hard his entire time here, if he fails it's because he just doesn't have the skills. I don't fault his personality or his effort at all.
    I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"
    "Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet.
    You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
    It was all     true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
    He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can     mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

        Well, with your history of predictions this summer I would take your word over a player's word for sure..................

        And, fwiw, EJ is nothing like Losman. He might not make it. But he's not like Losman who (supposedly) had problems with his teammates.

        Not to mention of all his problems, I haven't seen leadership mentioned very often.

            Cassel has had 8 different OC's in his 7 year career.

            You would think he would have done better with some consistency at the Coaching level.

            Hopefully EJ or Cassel has a career year this year for the Bills.

              I like the Rex idea. Names mean nothing and it's all about the laundry.

              Using both fields at SJF camp and let someone win the QB job with plenty of reps to show something.

              I could care less who it is. No favorites.

                I remember how Woods would flail his arms in the air after EJ missed by a mile and through his body language literally said, "WTF!" more than a few times last year. Same with Sammy Watkins, although his body language wasn't so obvious.

                EJ's fate is in the hands of Steve DeBerg.

                Why wouldn't Woods think EJ's going to be the starter?

                  Cj Spiller did say on NFLN something along the lines of Manuel being too nice and he needs to be more of a hardass and be more demanding of his teammates

                        I am pretty sure he is with the team. I am not so sure he starts.
                        Losing the forst two games in order to find out that EJ is still inaccurate is pretty much the difference between playoffs and no playoffs.
                        But I agree that EJ will start if the performance of the three is pretty much on the same level.
                        But why should Rex start EJ if Taylor is way better in TC and pre-season. I dont think Rex has a three year plan similar to other new coaches. He has "this year I want to make the playoffs plan". Especially since next year Kyle might be too old and Dareus might have another jersey...

                          You're wrong. JP was an introvert...not necessarily unliked. If you remember last season, EJ's leadership was brough up multiple times before the season began.

                          BTW which predictions are you talking about? Are you still mad when I called you out and you were wrong a month ago?
