As early as next week BU's Matt O'Connor will begin an NHL tour with stops in Ottawa, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Buffalo and maybe NYR.

I don't know enough about the guy to comment one way or the other, but did you actually watch the guy or just a lowlight reel? I could put together a bunch of plays that make Ryan Miller look like a dud and Jocelyn Thibault look like Hasek. I just hope you're not basing your whole opinion on some hater's YouTube clip.

No, these were shown during the broadcast by ESPN after he gave up that horrifying, inexcusable monstrosity that cost his team the championship. They showed 3 or 4 more incomprehensible gaffes. The type of plays a goalie makes maybe once in his entire career, and he's made a fistful of them.

We're already cursed. We don't need a cursed goalie.

By no means should signing oconnor replace the need to draft a high end goalie.

Our first pick in rd 2 may be the goalie pick (probably get the top goalie here) but an 18 yr old goalie is typically at least a 3-4/year project

His name is Mackenzie Blackwood and he has the size Murray likes in the position and he's worth drafting as not sure we have any great prospects. Cal Petersen though might prove me wrong.
