Pathetic wretches, get one more number 1 shot in 2016 because you can't ever be sure and have enough prospects for 2 years down the road after 4. Lose again, higher picks ! Oh, sorry, it was supposed to stop now ?

Woot, Eichel and Reinhart ! Someday, maybe, sort of. Lose one more year or 2 to be sure.

Spooky good.

Dunno. Last year's gem, Reinhart, couldn't play in his first Rochester game, probably want to season him until 2017 to gel with Eichel, sort of learning the pro game this season, so 2017 will be better at what, the 6th or 7th season of promise and couldn't a competent purposed organization take less than 6 years to turn it around ?

Or maybe we need more number 1's and it's great. 2018 will be the year, or 2019, or 2020 with even more number 1's 1 Keep embracing the tank, it's serving us well.

Not everyone drafted is directly ready for the NHL, this isn't multi-year college students typically & being inexperienced doesn't rule out a great player. Many players take years to develop, so I wouldn't get too down on Sam yet.

I don't know why anyone would get down on sam. Not everyone's NHL ready. He wasnt. Likely will be next season.

They want to use previous drafts as an example that top picks may not ready for the big time or be good, like that doesn't change every year in every pro-sport's drafts. Like all top NFL picks are bound to be good or bad, LOL. Gimme a freaking break man, it's just people's limited knowledge of how things can work good or bad.

I'm thinking next season we are still a lottery team, but more towards the low end 10-15.

I doubt it, we'll be a low seed playoff team. We have tons of cap room & talent to bring up, hopefully we get a great coach to make it gel (that's what I expect).

i would never accuse the players of tanking and i certainly dont think they did, but they were shooting last night like the net was the size of a postage stamp. thank god

roy orbison jr has plenty to play with now. half the team will probably be in rochester or out the door so he has plenty of room to add free agents. there should be quite a draw to come here and play with one of the next great phenoms. and there should be plenty of money to do pretty much whatever murray wants

theyre probably a year away from being a serious contender regardless so im expecting a little patience for another season myself. but we could all get surprised

I'm nowhere close to being down on Sam. It's the ever dangling "in a couple years" after it's already being a bunch that grates on my nerves. Barely any are NHL ready nowadays unless you try and force their development. We aren't, so like I said, write off 2015 and hope it gels in 2016, or maybe, since we're developing, 2017. Need a couple years to hit stride, 2018, we'll be awesome in 2019, maybe.
