Pittsburgh wins. Sabres win as their play prevents the bruins from making the playoffs.

Awesome.

If you're going to just miss the playoffs you might as well finish 30th lol Stupid bruins management should have seen this coming and planned accordingly last summer and stripped the team and put themselves in position to guarantee themselves the Boston kid Eichel lol Poor spiked it's deja vu all over again when the bills went 6-10 or 7-9 and it pissed him off because he wanted Cam Newton or Andrew Luck lol Bruins are going downhill fast

and Oilers won't be getting another lottery pick...

When the Pittsburgh Penguins traded their 2015 1st round selection to the Edmonton Oilers (http://thehockeywriters.com/category/edmonton-oilers/)along with Rob Klinkhammer for David Perron no one was expecting a scenario where the then 26th overall pick could become a lottery pick for the Oilers.
Now fast forward a few months and with the season concluding today the Penguins could find themselves on the outside looking in which only helps the Oilers cause in their hunt for a fourth 1st overall selection in six years.

I thought you were being funny at first. Read the rest. Yeah this is something to be proud of. As a kid I used to listen to the Sabres expansion games falling asleep on the crackly radio. They couldn't win most games. I went to school and argued they'd be good with a room full of Bruins fans who made fun of me. I was proud to root for a losing team I wanted to win.

Different world I guess. And you think like a loser and deserve what you get. You're in for a surprise with this team. Good for you.

Chara is a shell of his former self. I'd be happy to see him go regardless

I've been seeing rumors that the bruins are going to try to trade marc Savards contract to a team for cap relief. Buffalo was a team that was Rumored to be interested. Wonder what buffalo would get with him.

Hes never going to play again. Boston was trade his cap hit to us to relieve their cap pressure and allow buffalo to get to the cap floor. Boston would probably give us a little as well.

Probably? Why else would we do it?? It'd cost a couple picks to eat that contract.
