yet again, other then OJ, there is no other player who put on a bills uniform who could be spoken of as possibly the best ever as his position then Bruce Smith.

I love thomas. but he's not the best ever, and bruce just might be.

It's hard to vote against Thurman but Bruce was so dominant. He's probably the 2nd or 3rd best at his position all time. Thurman was the 3rd best RB playing in his era (behind Sanders and E. Smith). And that's not a knock on Thurman at all- he was great for us. Bruce was just on another level.

Op is spot on and why Jim Kelly is beloved that is exactly why I think Bruce should beat him when they eventually meet up next round.

as much as i love fred, moorman was arguably the best at his position for half a decade or more. freddie's been good but not that good. furthermore, as sad as it is to say, freddie was on the team when fans could have a legit argument moorman was the best player on the team.

Valid point, but I think Freddie is much more of a locker room leader and the heart and soul of the team for a long time.

Freddie coming up from NFL Europe, his second effort and his leadership > great punter.

Longevity wins out in this battle so I give the nod to Ruben who spent 9 seasons in Buffalo compared to Ted's 6.

Andre Reed was my favorite Bill growing up and his best game came with Frank Reich at QB (see Greatest Comeback). Toss in Jimbo played horribly in all 4 of our Super Bowls so I have to drag him down a few pegs.

Had to vote for Andre. Small school product... consistant game in game out and he embraced Buffalo without being forced to like Jim.

I voted for Andre as well.

48 receptions as a rookie from Mathison and Ferragamo.

Nuff said.

When Kelly finally got off that plane and fired a bullet from the stairs into Ed Kilgores midriff, it was a precise, perfect spiral. "He's here ! He's here !" I thought, finally, he's here ! A QB a real QB a quarterbackly QB !

Oh it made me weep for joy to see Kelly viciously blast anyone who had the gall to intercept his passes, and to ignore having so many of them intercepted as he marched them downfield hungering for the win...

Best player we ever had at the most important position on the field. I'm in for Jimbo.
