This is not from Facebook. It came up on my eBay feed. Seller's name is torontorobford. He has only 3 transactions and is selling the jersey in the category "Historical Memorabilia".

A couple of months ago he started selling various personal items with some of the proceeds going to charity.

I think most of the proceeds are going to Tyrone the drug dealer.

You must be joking. He's been all over the national news for some time.

FOX News from April 5th:

Canada's Hockey Hall of Fame names ex-Toronto mayor Rob Ford board member (http://www.foxnews.com/world/2015/04/05/canada-hockey-hall-fame-names-ex-toronto-mayor-rob-ford-board-member/)

Thanks, Ingtar. I live in Germany and don't care about any Canadian mayors. However, now that I researched it I remember. I might actually recognized the name if I had not seen the picture. But on the picture he does not look like any politician. After doing some research nothing about him is a like a common politician.

Well it's not everyday a mayor of one of the largest cities on the continent admits to smoking crack.

The admission itself is not the half of it. The videos are what gave the story staying power. Especially the ones that came after the admission.

That and he seemed to enjoy it when people laughed at him. While being oblivious they were laughing AT him.

He was awesome!

Well, I don't know. I just know that when Marion Barry was caught smoking crack, there was no visual to go with it. But when you add a crack smoking mayor to YouTube videos of him whacked out of his mind at 5 am in a pizza joint, and another of him knocking a woman to the ground in the council chamber and dancing to reggae music, it sticks like napalm.

Yeah, there WAS a visual that showed Barry smoking crack in a hotel room. Then the FBI came charging in, and Barry asked for his lawyer, expressing his chagrin about how that "goddamn ***** set him up." THAT was the thing that pissed him off, and not, you know, that fact that he was the mayor and was smoking crack. IMO, mayors should not be doing that.

Google the video. THAT'S entertainment, and that's a guy I certainly would re-elect.

Yeah, but there wasn't social media spreading it everywhere 24/7. Whatever images of Marion Berry there were paled in comparison to Rob Ford's Chris Farley raised from the dead buffoonery.

If Rob Ford didn't exist, YouTube would have to invent him.

Yikes. With 11 hours left in the auction, the price is currently $52 Canadian.

I may buy it just to have a Fred Jackson jersey.
