Sens have something to play for!

OTTAWA, Ontario (AP) -- Mark Reeds, an assistant coach for the playoff-bound Ottawa Senators and a former NHL player, died Tuesday. He was at 55.

Reeds had been fighting cancer for more than a year, and the news came as a blow to a team already dealing with general manager Bryan Murray's cancer diagnosis.

reeds was the head coach of the k-wings when i worked for them. i met him a handful of times, and he was always a good guy to me, even if it was just in passing when he was leaving he tickets at the window for friends and family. its always sad to see cancer take someone early.
