Or not.

Mark Purdy of the San Jose Mercury News (http://blogs.mercurynews.com/purdy/2015/04/15/sharks-coaching-situation-mclellan-wilson-staredown-antacid-please/): Todd McLellan’s future with the Sharks is still up in the air as he said he wanted to talk with his family first before deciding on whether to return for the final season on his contract.

Over Nolan? Most definitly. If he is talking to his family it must be to retire or not? He's still under contract.

Wait it out a few months and Claude Julien will be available.

No need to rush to get a Head Coach.

Sharks and McLellan mutually agree to part ways: http://www.nhl.com/ice/m_news.htm?id=764211

I wouldn't really be upset if he got the job, but I'm not convinced he's the best option.
