Ali Marpet, C/G,RT Hobart

Marpet is a Division-III player and I can care less.

This guy is going to be a damn good football player in the NFL and he's my pick at 50.

In physical appearance alone, compare Marpet to Hroniss Grasu, Marcus Mariota's center.

<iframe width="640" height="390" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/_fhCuu164fo" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Grasu is the, "Consensus second rated center in the 2015 NFL Draft," but he has durability issues because he was often injured.

My pick at 50 would be Ali Marpet.

Plays with advanced technique for a Division III player. More than held his own at the Senior Bowl against both quickness and strength. Moved from tackle to guard with no issues during the week of practice. Outstanding NFL Scouting Combine with impressive showing on bench press (30 reps).

It's over, finally I'm done after turning over as many potential football rocks as I could find in my mind.

Who do you like at pick 50?

You're going to be very happy with whoever the Bills take at 50 because well at one point or another you have wanted the Bills to draft every player in this draft lol

I have no idea. I guess I'd just like them to draft a position of need. I don't do enough research to come up with names of players who are worthy of the pick.

I'd be pretty surprised if he lasted until us at 50. I know he's had some issues recently but hes been projected as a first rounder.

I'd rather see us trade back and pick Marapet or Petty. Maybe both depending how the chips fall

His recent legal issue and think slow forty time makes him slide to pick 50. Yet nobody really knows as ultimately I want AJ Cann but I think he'll be long gone by the time we pick.

If Ralph were still in charge, the answer to "With The 50th Pick In The 2015 NFL Draft, The Buffalo Bills Select..." would be "some guy who will either be out of the league in 2 years or on another team as soon as his rookie contract expires."

Hopefully that won't be the case with Pegula and Whaley.

It could be a new verb meaning a destroying block by a pulling Guard.

Example -- "What a Great Laken to free up McCoy on that TD run."

It may be hard to imagine since we haven't seen many of these from the Bills over the past couple of years. Sorry, I meant no one other than Better Days has seen that.

If he's gone by our pick, we can call him Taken Laken.
If he turns out to be a fraud...Fakin' Laken.
If he gets too fat to play...Bacon Laken.
If he doesn't get drafted...Forsaken Laken.
If he's always hurt...Achin' Laken...which means everybody keeps...Breakin' Laken.

http://walterfootball.com/images/fball/billsb_logo.gif Buffalo Bills: Laken Tomlinson (http://walterfootball.com/scoutingreport2015ltomlinson.php), G, Dukei:http://walterfootball.com/college/Duke_logo.gif

The Bills could use some competition at tackle and guard. Tomlinson could give Buffalo an upgrade at guard.

Tomlinson (6-3, 323) is a gifted athlete with some agility and quickness for a big blocker. He carries his weight well and has some strength to him. Tomlinson started every game he played for the Blue Devils from his freshman season on. Tomlinson was a two-time ACC All-Academic selection, too.

Tomlinson held his own and was impressive at times against Florida State in 2013's ACC Championship Game. Tomlinson has recoverability skills. Even if a defender has a step or leverage on him, Tomlinson has the strength and quickness to take it away. He could continue to use some refinement, but he has upside and physicality to him.

LAKEN TOMLINSON

Would be a better pick than Marpet if he is still available at #50.

But I would like to see the Bills draft a QB, as big an EJ supporter as I have been called.

gonna be slim pickings in the middle of the o-line when our pick comes up.

I didn't even do any research on any of the players this year. I don't give a **** who they pick as long as they get a good guard and a good safety.

I think this will be the first year that I don't watch one minute of the draft. I can look online and see who the Bills draft. No need to be a slave to the NFL when I can enjoy my life.
