Player for player trades are so rare to begin with, and they are almost impossible to predict without inside info.

On the surface of things, it seems absurd. The Bills already have McCoy, so why bother?

Maybe because having McCoy and Peterson on the same team would be unstoppable and prolong both of their careers?

If I knew he still does, I would trade his ass for a Hall of Fame player in Peterson any day, and Peterson's contract compared to what Dareus is going to command would be small in comparison.

I agree trading Dareus for Peterson would be a trade of HOF players if both stay healthy & out of trouble.

But I would rather keep Dareus myself. DT'S have a longer shelf life than RB's in the NFL.

If Dareus leaves this d line would be mediocre. He is the guy that has got everyone else to play at a higher level. I love Kyle Williams and his passion but without Dareus and his unique abilities I don't think this d line would be as inspired.
