"We have identified where La'el was the day the lady was murdered to establish he was nowhere around," Collins' attorney, Jim Boren, told ESPN. "We have offered to give names, witnesses who can vouch for his whereabouts that day until after the woman's body was discovered. They don't seem in too much of a hurry to put him in custody. I'd say the worry is that he's friends with the killer rather than the trigger man himself.

After Hernandez it's just too much of a risk. He may very well have nothing to do with it, but hindsight is 20/20 and he did have something to do with it, it's gonna look REAL bad.
