If petty is there I think he's the pick.

Just what we need...another questionable QB.

If they pick Petty I'll laugh my ass off.

Garbage.

If I could bump all the threads of hotshot QB's this place pined for... who wound up doing nothing in the NFL... I'd need an hour.

PJ Williams

The dream scenario for me here would be to get Petty and PJ Williams. I dont know if we should take Petty at 50 (I do like him but that just seems a tad bit early) but I have a feeling , and I wouldnt be shocked if he was the pick

If those are the four, I hope it's Donovan Smith.

I don't know about that. I'm leaning towards all the 20 players that Billsimpossible said we'd take.

I sincerely hope not.

An OT who struggles to move, a DT who can't play NT, a QB who struggles to read defenses, and a CB who was far from the best CB on his own team.

I can't disagree with you on the potential issues with Petty. But for me it's just as simple as really liking the way the kid plays. I can just see him becoming a solid student of the game and quickly learning to read defenses in a simplistic spread style offense that I think Roman may run.

I could just picture this kid winning with grit and determination. He's far from a sure thing.

There is nothing seperating Winston and Mariota from Petty. Winston and Mariota have horrible accuracy, float passes, and Winston has horrible pocket awareness. Petty ran the same one read offense Mariota did, and put up the same stats passing that Winston has. Petty at the very least can give us an orton season.

I'm thinking AJ McCann or Tre Jackson.

I cold see Whaley and Rex rolling the dice on a guy like Jordan Phillips.

Donovan Smith
Carl Davis
PJ Williams

The sad part is Donovan Smith fits what the Bills like most in offensive lineman but the one guy I don't want us taking.

I could see us taking PJ to play S and/or slot CB his rookie year and shift him back to CB to replace McKelvin and/or Gilmore but that might be the "old Bills" way of thinking (ie under Ralph).

Donovan Smith has always had the ability, but rarely the motivation or work ethic. Hope he does well, but a little glad he's not on the Bills, to be honest.
