He seemed like a popular choice for potential break-out player a couple years ago before getting hurt and going on IR. I'd definitely be interested in seeing him return to provide some DL depth. It doesn't look like he did much in St. Louis, but they have a pretty strong DL too so he may not have gotten a lot of opportunities, or got hurt again.

He was a solid player here, never really had the success anywhere else. He'll probably be back on the cheap and he'll be another good rotational lineman

i think he will start at the 5 tech, dareus nt... wynn, charles, bryant as backups

I thought the Bills were going to use a pick for DL depth, but I like this better. Good solid vet that might be better than any of our other rotation guys. Welcome back Alex!

Was surprised he's still only 27. Good rotational guy at least, in his athletic prime, still with some upside. A solid move all around.

Classic 3-4 ends that tie up blockers. When Wanny took over, his days at the Bills was over. Steelers looked at him for vet minimum, he decided to go to the Rams fro more money, a complete wrong move. Hope he can spell Kyle Williams when the games are out of reach.

Carrington's only flaw is that he didn't go to Florida State.

Or maybe he was not fully recovered from his injury last year in addition to the Rams having a good DL.

Very nice...I hope he can bring to the table what he did prior to his injury...very good signing, and I also could see him starting opposite Dareus as the other DE.

I was upset when he left, so it's good to have him back.

was he injured most of the season in stl? musta, he had something like one tackle

but as long as hes healed it could definitely work in our favor. or not

Carrington could be considered as a, "Kick blocking specialist."

When he was with the Bills they called him, "Megahand."

One blocked kick can make the biggest difference.

Fred Smerlas agrees.

Pettine's Ryan used Dareus more over the center, your NT who isn't an NT in a 4-3 under though. The ends are still Mario and Lawson/Hughes, called linebackers. Carrington will get his reps as LB/end for looks, but some of the "LB's" are always ends, they only use 2 real lb's as lb's.

For the heck of it, here's another breakdown : http://www.dawgsbynature.com/2014/2/20/5428416/mike-pettines-2013-buffalo-bills-defense

We keep getting better. Our team is going to be a monster no matter who plays qb.

Carrington's only flaw is that he didn't go to Florida State.

Word is he is changing his name to Alex Williams.

Carrington's problem is that he could not crack the Florida State lineup.
