Well maybe another good signing:

Is anyone surprised? He made the probowl the year before he was released.

My only thought is being out of football that long is usually an issue. This would be a great development especially for a team that will need to run the ball.

I'm not but bump the threads from when he was signed. A lot of the know it all's were saying it was a stupid signing. He'd been out of the league a year, he was old, he won't even make the team yada yada yada! I think a lot of that was bleeding hearts not wanting a "bully" on our team!

The guy is on a one-year prove it deal. This should not surprise anyone.

I'll believe it when I see it. It's still early and Rex definitely has a way of over-hyping things in the offseason. I'm still a fan of the signing, though.

Agree, Rex is a hype master. I asked about it, I am pretty sure that he will confirm that some of our UFA picks could possibly make the hall of fame.

Most players that miss a year do so because of injury.

And when they come back, they are not yet fully healthy.

Incognito on the other hand spent his year out of football working out.

He is in great health & motivated to have a great season.

He may not make the pro bowl, but I expect a pro bowl type season out of him this year.

I wanted to keep Incognito when he was on the Bills before. I'm glad he's here. That is all.

He'll be the best gaurd we've had in the last two years, at least an above-average NFL starter. I'm thrilled with this move.

Wait-and-see on Miller. Initial reviews are really encouraging, but as posters above have said, beware the no-pads hype machine.

We need him to be outstanding.

Not necessarily. Even above average would be fine.

I think he has to prove himself off the field in this year more so than on it.

Mathis is still far better.

Sorry I was doing me best Incognito in post above.
