WICHITA, Kan. -- An autopsy did not indicate what killed a 31-year-old arenafootball2 player who collapsed during a game, the Sedgwick County coroner's office said Monday.

Authorities will now await results of toxicology reports on Julian Yearwood, a 6-foot-2, 260-pound fullback/linebacker for the Bakersfield Blitz of the developmental league.

Yearwood passed out while on the bench in the first quarter of a game against the Wichita Stealth on Saturday night.

He had come off the field inside the air-conditioned Kansas Coliseum a few plays earlier, after blocking a field-goal attempt. The game wasn't completed.

Emergency medical technicians worked to resuscitate him until he was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead about an hour after his collapse.

An autopsy was performed Sunday at the Regional Forensic Science Center in Wichita. Results of toxicology tests are expected within a few days to a few weeks, Sedgwick County communications coordinator Angie Duntz said Monday.
