I think he'll land with the Amerks; if he wows the coaching staff, he could start the season in Buffalo.

I think this allows both Reinhart and/or Eichel to play wing this year.
Kane ROR Eichel
Reinhart Ennis Girgs/Moulson?

God I hope not but I'd rather that happen than rush Reinhart when he's not ready

I'd rather CoHo get bought out or used as trade bait. We now have a GLUT of centers...Eichel, Girgs, Reinhart and now O'Reilly.

ROR and Reinhart can be shifted to wing as needed. Girgs to me is a 3rd liner. I'm not ready to give up on CoHo but if we could move him for a top 4 Dman in his mid twenties I wouldn't be too sad.

bingo. if he has to be used a spot filler, so be it. and maybe MAYBE he can get productive again and make himself an asset to trade away. not holding my breath.

I think these moves actually guarantee his status with the big club next year. Whether he's on line one or two, he'll be paired with good talent, and I think this will blend with his skill set.
