    Ravens' QB told presence at camp Monday is must
    The quarterback competition between Kyle Boller and Chris Redman may be over before it gets started.
    Ravens coach Brian Billick said yesterday that Boller would not be allowed to compete to be the team's season-opening starter if he does not report to the first practice of training camp on Monday.

    Boller, the 19th overall pick in the draft, is one of the Ravens' two unsigned first-round picks.

    Boller holdout could throw wrench into Ravens' QB battle
    OWINGS MILLS, Md. (AP) -- Kyle Boller appears headed toward a holdout that could ruin his bid to become the Baltimore Ravens' starting quarterback.

    Boller -- the 19th overall selection in the 2003 NFL Draft -- will be given the opportunity at training camp to compete against Chris Redman and Anthony Wright for the No. 1 job.

    But Boller won't be in uniform on the first day of camp Monday unless he and the Ravens close a sizable gap in contract talks.

      Boller gets nod as Ravens starter

      Kyle Boller will start at quarterback when the Baltimore Ravens open the NFL regular season in Pittsburgh next Sunday, winning the job from incumbent Chris Redman.

      The Ravens' selection of Boller defies a couple of the league's unwritten rules.
