Murray talking about Richards on WGR back in Jan. when he was put on waivers

We don't need any more centers. I could see pursuing a possible 3rd line wing. A guy like Patrick Dwyer would be nice.

I would find out why it was terminated as opposed to bought out before doing anything.

We need to check everything with him, including health & attitude. That being said, what are we waiting for ??

Apparently and now we have about the deepest set of centers in the league. Unfortunately, we have about the shallowest set of RW, G and Dmen

Not so sure about that. Lots of teams have proven NHL talent in the middle. Pit and Anh come to mind right away.

It apparently happened at a boarder crossing. Also, the kings found out in the middle of the first round of the draft while they were negotiating a trade of richards

Even if I was interested I wouldn't touch him until everything came out and was settled. He hasn't really met expectations in LA, and with the new events I can easily pass on him.

A one-year performance oriented deal is in the cards, he can work for his contract & take drug tests.

With improvement already down the middle, I just don't know if its worth exposing a young locker room to him ( assuming its a drug related offense ) Obviously, if the drug charge is true there must have been huge issues....richards, stoll....so Im not sure I'd even be interested.

Pretty good point there, so lets not deal with him at all.
