Sounds like a slow start to the day for EJ.

EJ with lots of overthrows and worm burners? SHOCKING, I tell you!

(https://twitter.com/MatthewFairburn)Something interesting from Rex on QBs: May be more important to find guy that knows playbook well enough to check into the right run play.

Rex: "We'll probably have the biggest playbook in the history of man in our running game." Complexity/multiplicity of Roman's offense.

If our qb's are useless maybe we should have Kromer give Rice a call and see if he wants to play for the bills.

I don't remember reading anywhere that Cassel or Taylor has been a whole lot more accurate than EJ.

if you think of EJ's skill set as being a poor man's kaepernick, it makes sense that he is running a lot of read option stuff. especially considering that hte last regime never actually wanted him running the ball. so he always handed off when they did it.

if they are going to use that to buy him time and let his athletcism factor in, then the more he knows on this, the better off he wil be.

Tyrd compares to Kaepernick to me in terms of athleticism. Yet I think EJ can be a Rich Gannon/Steve McNair type. Ie more of a passing QB who can run if needed.

Yup, he doesn't have great speed but he has enough speed to at least be a little bit of a threat. Would be a pretty good weapon if he could pass accurately too. Not like any of the other Qb's we have can pass accurately either

Is it too late to run the triple option?

Sure, why not. Worked for Air force. ;)
