Bills QB stats in 11-on-11 so far based on my notes in order of how they took reps. Cassel: 8-10, Tyrod: 6-9, Manuel: 13-14 with a TD.

Quick take-aways so far...

Sounds like EJ's doing a little better today so far: 13/14 with a long TD. The caveat being it was the 3's vs the 3's.

Sammy Watkins gets dinged up almost immediately and doesn't return to practice. Seems like he nicks some miscellaneous body part every five seconds, doesn't it?

Kyle Williams lines up at TE at one point (not a goal line situation either).

Colin Schmidt apparently booming some nice punts.

And of course within seconds of my post, EJ throws an ugly floater for a pick by Kenny Ladler.

Kyle Williams is going to score a TD on offense this year. Awesome!

So we have two first rounders and a second rounder at DB, but Rex is throwing our top FA wideout in at DB for giggles. Now we spend all the money on a free agent tight end and draft another, so why not throw an all pro tackle out there?

There's experimental and then there's just weird

I thought this was cool.

Rex Ryan eats a dog biscuit after practice to raise awareness about animal cruelty.

Apparently enjoys it so much, he helps himself to another.

perhaps its simply a smoke screen. let people prepare for something that will never occur.

also if you saw the wildcat run in the training camp the first year the NFL brought it back in miami, you'd have thought it was crazy. "it's a passing league. we are really going to bring a d3 play to the nfl and take the qb out of the equation?" and yet it crippled the pats in the debut and made every team put in a wildcat package and prepare for a wildcat package.

Or maybe there's just having a little fun at practice with things they have no intention of ever using. ***** ***** *****

I don't have a problem with that if Kyle is put out there as a TE just to hurt someone while blocking. ;)

He can catch as well as Matthew Mulligan can and probably run faster besides.

Remember Tim Tebow as a punt blocker and a wide receiver? Rex is willing to get cute in real games.

Too cute. One of his many flaws.
