The Buffalo Bills announced that the team has signed free agent DE Erik Williams. In accordance with team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The 6-3, 270-pound former Wildcat is the son of Lee Williams—an 11-year NFL veteran who played for the San Diego Chargers and Houston Oilers.

Williams originally signed with the Bills on May 4 as an undrafted free agent. He was released by the team on August 6.

Team President Russ Brandon: We feel the Williams brand is what Buffalo is all about. We would like to eventually get to the point where our entire team is nothing but Williamses"

GM Doug Whaley: "We are in contract negotiation with Doug Williams, Vanessa Williams, and Robin Williams ethereal spirit and we feel good about our chances of adding them to our team."

I'm just gonna use the written name Williams referring to the plural but in my head and verbally pronounce it Will Hams.

The Will Hams made a great play on that interception.

We need a big push from the Will Hams to pull this one out.

Looks like the Will Hams himselfs' another sack.

etc.

Maybe that's what's wrong with the offense...a shortage of Williams.

I've been on the Williams bandwagon for a long time. That's why it was so hard to criticize the Williams signing and the eventual Williams cut. Thankfully it was different from the usual contribution from Williams.
