    Patriots cut QB Matt Flynn

    Now down to one QB eligible to play on week #1.

            He was released injured, with I guess a hamstring injury. They needed a backup to play garbage time in the preseason games and couldn't wait for him to get healthy.

              We cut Matt Flynn while Jeff Tuel was on the roster if that tells you anything.

                Then he signed with Green Bay and completed 102-for-168 (61.4%), 1,146 yards (6.9 ypa), 7 TD, 4 int, 86.1 QB Rating. If the Bills get that level of play from their QB this year they are likely a playoff team.

                    They picked up Ryan Lindley of all people.

                    I wouldn't mind giving Flynn a look, most guys cut by Marrone get a clean slate as far as I'm concerned. At least bring him in and find out what Belichick is installing on offense.
