I've been to a couple of games in Bills games in Baltimore over the past 5-10 years, but I'm coming to Ralph for my first game there since the wind game vs. NE. Beofre that, it was a preseason game vs the Vikings when Moss was there (side story - I rode with Wy to that game and we ran out of gas in the pouring rain in the middle Pennsyltucky at like 2AM).
Anyway, some friends are flying me up from Nicaragua to Baltimore, then we're gonna road trip to Buffalo for the game. After the game, I plan to leave my Baltimore friends and go spend some time with my dad and other family in the Utica/Rome area, so my question is this - how far is the Ralph from the Amtrack station, and is there an inexpensive way to get there?
(Another side story - a former Bill came down here for a mission trip this summer and is one of the friends heading up there with us from Baltimore for the game.)

I can't help as I am not a local. But it's good to see you lurking around!

Amtrack is in Depew...bus station is downtown, close to the FNC.

Not really, you'll likely have to cab it (no more than 30 minutes pending weather/traffic) unless you touch base with some fans that be willing to take you.

That cab would probably be more expensive than the train to Rome.

Better to rent a car IMO.

Then you can drive to Utica as well.

Interestingly enough, this has reinforced a factor that needs to be considered in the quest for a new stadium, and it's location...OP is sorely lacking in availability of public transportation to and from the games.

considering times and such, you might be able to get a zoner or two to shuttle you. But I would think renting a car would be the way to go. Probably get one right from the Amtrak Station.

Maybe it's time WNY got into the 21 Century & built better public transportation for the entire area.

I can't think of a rental agency near Amtrak, its kind of in the middle of nowhere. On the other hand, he might be able to find an agency that provides pick up service, like Enterprise. The car rental agencies are about 4 or 5 miles from the Amtrak station.

Does Buffalo have Uber?

Best yet, I nominate Lecter to be in charge of picking him up and getting him to the game. Anyone 2nd the nomination?

Preaching to the choir man. The NFTA(Buffalo mass transit system) seems to think people in the suburbs don't want to commute in and out of the city on weekends or after 6:00pm weekdays. They used to have a shuttle to Bills games but stopped running it about 3 years ago as it wasn't making them money.

How about buses? Is there a bus system that could get me from RWS to the Amtrack?

I have relatives spread throughout the Toronto area.

That City has awesome public transportation as do NYC & Chicago.
