EJ is in his 3rd year on his original 5 year rookie contract. Tyrod's 2017 is entirely voidable.

I thought I heard at Tyrod's signing, he had some protection built into his contract that should he starts for the Bills, he would make up to $7 million range. Guess only 2017 voidable clause is there.

It looks like he'll be getting $20 million a season after he wins the Super Bowl 51 MVP & voids 2017. Two season on the cheap & then we'll have to pay him.
