Always liked Cierre Wood at ND. He had a ridiculous YPC average.

ND used a running back by committee approach though, so I don't see him as the kind of guy that can withstand 20-25 carries a game.

Love the Bryant signing! As mentioned, he's a very solid depth player. I would be surprised if Wood is on the roster once we start getting some backs healthy. He's just a camp signing.

Jarius Wynnis more of a pass rusher with some good run D ability while Red Bryant is more of a stuffer.

He's going to be stuck behind good backs here too. He'll probably get a chance to show some stuff on the field but he has little chance of making the roster here

Agreed. I think Bryant will really help the run defense, especially on 3rd & short.

He's going to be stuck behind good backs here too. He'll probably get a chance to show some stuff on the field but he has little chance of making the roster here

He'll likely get a buttload of carries over the next 3 pre-season games, so that will give him a chance to show the entire league what he can do. I think it's great when guys like that get a shot. I hope he grabs the opportunity and runs with it.

Last year we had a Dixon handing off to a Dixon, a Brown tackling a Brown, a Williams blocking a Williams, and another Williams covering a Williams downfield.

Pegula is spending money all over the place, but it seems he intends to save money by bulk-ordering jersey nameplates.
