I really feel for guys like you. I was fortunate enough to watch our last playoff win, and I'll never forget it. Bryan Cox (LB for the Dolphins) was ejected and then spit at fans who taunted him on his way to the locker room.Originally posted by MillsapsBillsFan View Post
I was even privileged enough to be AT our last home playoff game against the Jaguars. But that one ended pretty damn poorly, with Jim Kelly suffering a career-ending injury (I think it was a concussion?) and the stupid Jags winning on a late field goal.
The only thing I envy you for is not experiencing the "Music City Miracle" live. Any of my contemporaries who are also Bills fans will pinpoint that moment as THE time a sporting event made them cry.Comment

We had no way of knowing it at the time, but that game was 15 years ago and it's the last time the Bills were good. It put this team into a downward spiral that we still haven't recovered from.Comment

Only Doug Marrone could find a way to make an extra $4 million and still end up looking like a ****ing idiot.I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"
"Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet.
You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.
