The outside linebacker who punched New York Jets quarterback Geno Smith during a locker room dispute missed his college team's 2011 season opener because he injured his hand when punching a man he thought was a woman with whom he had arranged to have sex, Outside the Lines has learned.

According to the police report, on Sept. 1, 2011, Enemkpali began exchanging messages with a new Facebook friend named "Missy Lee," who offered to perform oral sex on Enemkpali if he would come over to her house. He told police that after he entered the house through a side door, he saw a figure inside "covered head-to-toe in a blanket," and the person would not remove the blanket. "Enemkpali stated that he felt uneasy about the situation, so he left," the report states.

But Enemkpali returned to the house after "Missy Lee" called him and convinced him to come back. When he arrived, the person wearing the blanket still refused to remove it and also refused to turn on the lights. When a cellphone in the room rang, "the screen lit up the room enough to see that the person under the blanket had facial hair," the report states. Enemkpali said another person had also entered the room.

"Enemkpali stated that he felt that he was being 'set up' for a robbery of some type," the police report states. "Enemkpali stated that fearing for his safety, he then struck the subject in the blanket. Enemkpali stated that after he struck this person, their voice changed to that of a male. Enemkpali stated that he then left the residence through the window."

Enemkpali told police he started receiving threatening texts in which "Missy Lee" accused him of punching her and knocking out her teeth. "U are going to jail," read one of the texts. He offered $500, but "Missy Lee" demanded $1,000 or the police would be called. "He [Enemkpali] would be 'finished' if that happened." The texts were followed by phone calls from someone claiming to be "Missy Lee's" father and demanding payment.

Police traced the phone numbers to a man named Ketryn Anderson, who initially lied to police but eventually admitted to reaching out to Enemkpali via Facebook and later posing as "Missy Lee's" father on the phone, the report states. He denied hiding under a blanket but did say he refused to turn on the lights. Anderson "stated that he was not attempting to extort money from Enemkpali, only to get him to pay for the damage he had done to his face."

Anderson, 34, is listed on Facebook as a senior pastor and founder of Life Community Church in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Crazy. The jokes write themselves.

But in this case we are talking about a person that's just begging to be punched. I give IK a pass on this assault. Dumb to be in that situation kind of. Ever talk to a man that you thought was a woman? I have...strange and rather scary, when you think about it. Can't so readily tell sometimes. Reminds me of The Crying Game in a way, but I had that girl pegged for a guy even before they showed her penis in that movie...that's right, I said HER penis. Apparently, nowadays girls can have dicks too. It's all about equal rights or something.

Yeah I can't fault IK for punching that dude. It was stupid of him to show up in the first place, but he was clearly being set up and it was a dangerous situation.

This is funny. Like feldspar and OpIv, I don't blame him for punching that guy either.

Having run around Hollywood and SF valley for a few years. I have a few funny stories about men pretending to be women.

But nothing I have beats the guy under the blanket being a Pastor. To funny.

this all makes sense now. IK must have thought that Geno Smith was gonna blow him, only to find out that he's a man.

Any chance that pastor was really Geno Smith? It would connect some dots here.

It's not that the church is a hiding ground for deviants. It's that the church makes people feel ashamed of their human sexuality and so it pushes people to act out in weird ways. This pastor was probably gay or at least bi-curious, but the church forbids homosexuality, so he has to hide who he is to avoid judgment by other religious people and showing himself to be a blatant hypocrite. Stuff like this wouldn't happen so much if we didn't have such a collective stick up our asses about sex in this country.

The 2015 Bills, we might not be the most successful team in the league, but dayum we very well might be the most entertaining, albeit for all the wrong reasons. Just pop the corn, sit back, and enjoy the show. Its Buffalo Bills Football Theater 2015
