Rex Ryan hasn't informed any QB of any choice, but sounds like Tyrod Taylor has some mounting support. Rex knows how tough he is to defend.

I was thinking player agent would be the obvious target and Schefter is hooked to all of the agents.

As soon as the players know, it won't be a secret any more.

Rex Ryan said it would be a decision based on the team. I think that means the way players respond to the QB. No doubt in my mind that one of the reasons Orton got the nod last year was EJ's teammates complaining he was going to get them killed in the middle of the field.

Agreed. I recall listening to WGR last year and people were saying as much. I don't think anyone put a direct quote in writing about the WRs complaining, but it was definitely eluded to in print in more than a few articles.

There is no way Tyrod isn't named the starter. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Tyrod forces teams to game plan to stop him. The other 2 QBs don't. If teams are worried about Tyrod running and throwing, they are vulnerable. The offense is multi-demensional with Tyrod. With the other 2, it's one dimensional.

Thats a few media sources that have said that now, Schefter, Glazer and thats what was discussed on Mike & Mike this morning. At this point its hard to say if its speculation on their parts or if they have inside info. But this many saying that certainly gives a strong indication towards taylor

They could care less what the fanbase thinks. The season tickets are already sold.....the job is done. Once McCoy breaks off a a few long runs we'll forget all about FJax
