Is Freddie Wall of Fame Worthy?

I've been pondering this question for a long time. Just waiting for the right moment to bring it up. I wasn't hoping it was going to be this soon but all good things come to an end.

I say yes. Not only is he 3rd all time in a couple rushing categories for Buffalo, need I remind you the top two are hall of famers, he is the only man in NFL history to put up a 1000 yards rushing and returning in the same year and five times posted 1000 yards from scrimmage but also he has been the most consistent Bill these past ten years and an obvious fan favorite. What do you all think?

      A lock.
Anonymity is an abused privilege, abused most by people who mistake vitriol for wisdom and cynicism for wit

Fred is the 4th best RB in team history, had Marshawn stayed longer, than I'd say 5th. He'll get their eventually but think guys like Joe Cribbs, Eric Moulds, Aaron Schobel should go up first.

            Good question.

Dunno if it's that simple of an answer and I don't agree with him being cut today.

If Fred Jackson is a wall of fame member, does that mean Kyle Williams is too? I mean after all Williams is the defense equivalent of Fred Jackson on this team through its decade+ of suck. Is Brian Moorman a wall of fame member? He's the special teams equivalent.

Ted Washington and Pat Williams were better than Kyle, so I say no on Kyle.

Wall of Fame? No question, he deserves a spot there. Hall of Fame? That's highly debatable.

I think so yeah, for all 3 of them. Does Cookie Gilchrist ? The stats might get iffy, but honestly they're all players you'll remember until you die.

I've had my gripes about Kyle through the years, but the doughboy always brings his "A" game happily. They were significant franchise players that gave memories to span eras. You figure a guy like Gilchrist played 3 seasons for the team 51 years ago and people still remember him from passed down memories with some degree of wonder if you pay any attention to the memories.

I think people will remember Jackson for running like he weighed 260, stiff arms, timely catches, massive blocks, and "will" to get another yard. Kyle will enter memory's garden as just as fierce in the trenches, blue collar, giving everything always, Moorman was maybe the quietest most proficient position player we ever had, with the same will, a pass on a fake, an unexpected run.

Maybe it's just me, but all these guys are what I love to remember and cherish about the Bills. I think they belong.
