Wow who could have ever predicted Byrd would be a slacker in NO? Has he started calling the Saints "they" yet? Every person on this board that ripped the Bills to shreds for letting this bum walk should admit they were wrong.

We keep letting our good players leave.

So Whaley was right about Levitre, Byrd, Kiko, and Spikes. We'll see about CJ, and Fred.

I expect Spiller to have an excellent year with Brees throwing him the ball ... and because I drafted him in the 10th round of my fantasy league.

Even if he has the best year ever, I'd still back Whaley on the decision to let him walk for McCoy. Freddy hurts, but I get it.

Sometimes for the right reasons. Byrd, like Kiko, is damaged goods, and that was the major factor in letting them leave. In Byrd's case, he was slow to begin with and relied on instincts. As age and injuries have caught up with him, his instincts aren't enough to save him. Plus he got way too much money for a FS.

CJ hasn't practiced with them in weeks and is possibly out for the first 2 weeks after undergoing a knee scope.

I saw that ... but with a 12 team money league, I thought hed come in handy in the later weeks as a 3rd option IF he stays healthy.

Ive literally taken this guy ever season except for his breakout year (go figure) and he has been useless ever time ... this is his redemption year!

Between him and Levitre...two actual good decisions made by the Bills when it comes to keeping their own/letting them go.
The last time the Bills made the playoffs was 1999.

Just came to post that Levitre was traded to Atlanta. Rotoworld saying it's shocking Tennessee found someone to take his bloated contract and that they got something in return.

TheBills have always been pretty good about knowing when to let someone walk. Where they fail is replacing them with someone equal or better.
