Don't freak out if the Bills start 0-2

The schedule is against the 2 teams that were in the AFC Championship game, facing 2 of the best QBs in the NFL. Darius is out game 1 and possibly Shady too. Even if they lose both of these home games, there's no need to panic unless the team looks horrible in defeat & Tyrod shows he's not an NFL QB. On the other hand, if they play well against these two powerhouse teams and even get a victory out of 1 of the games, we're in for a pretty good season. The last thing I want to see is after 2 weeks all the anti-Rex and pro-EJ people demanding changes.

We start 0-2... my prediction of 7-9 looks pretty money.

So we lose both home games with a stacked team that looks like it has a gamer QB ?? People need to make up their minds here.

i thought 10-6 was possible, but with the brady ruling in, it's 8-8. they will continue to cheat and continue to be emboldened to cheat further.

unless the refs stop giving them preferential treatment, they are going to run right through the east like a storm with the media excited to keep the "pats fans" involved every step of the way.

Starting 0-2 vs Luck and Brady doesn't mean your season is over....

At least both of those games are at home.

No it just mean 8 of the remaining 14 games are on the road.

Then in week 3 they have to go down to Miami and try to get their 1st win against an improved Miami team.

If we start 0-2, 99% of the people on this board will be flipping out.

And then back home against el Gigantes. They're not so tough anymore, but Manning can always pull one out of his ass and is 2-0 vs. the Bills. It's about as tough a start as I've seen in a while. Perhaps as far back as 2000: Titans, Packers, @Jets, Colts.

How auspicious would it be for that to have been the start of the drought and for this to be the beginning of the end?

They are not starting 0-2 at home.

The Colts top to bottom are not a great football team.

If you get to Andrew Luck, you beat the Colts. Simple as that.

It completely hinges on our defense living up to expectations like last season.

And it's a game I not only expect to win, I demand to win.

I will be very disappointed in this team if they lose at home to the massively overrated Colts. Indy piles up wins playing chumps in the AFC South, then they get beaten down by any team that's halfway good.

The Patriots you might as well chalk up as a loss right now. We can't beat them. And we probably won't beat them until Brady retires.

Deflation-bowl in week 2 is going to be a lot of ruckus. Wish I could be there...

You only say that because he's like 26-2 against us.

Except that AFC losses have been killing us. Going 0-2 in the conf with a Loss against the Pats and two home losses to start the season makes playoffs all but impossible.
