Bryce Brown on the trade block?

There was talk Dallas wanted Terrence West from Cleveland but the Browns were asking for too much, might we be shipping Brown to Dallas and then see us bring back Meeks and/or Cassel?

I don't think this is true.

I was speculating where Brown would be sent.

My source told me that this will be a 3 way deal. Bills trade Brown to Dallas, who trades Randle to Seattle, who trades Jackson back to Bills.

Then Whaley releases a statement that says "Happy April Fools!"

This organization has been acting like it hasn't been taking it's meds since last season ended...it better end up with a playoff berth, or Whaley can update his resume and put it to use.

So now Fred was cut and Bryce is on the block...

Which means the team is basically looking at Anthony Dixon as the backup for now until Karlos Williams takes over.

What of this makes any sense on a football level?

Could just mean that some other team called the Bills about it, and they talked. I don't see anything that says we are actively shopping Brown.

Wouldn't hurt my feelings. RB's just aren't a precious commodity nowadays and you can shuffle maybe's until you find one that fits if you have a scouting dept worth a crap.

Re: Bryce Brown on the trade block?

It's as if this organization overvalues and under scouts RBs
We are trading UP for equal or lesser talent...

Had Travis Henry but traded up for Willis McGahee in 1st round
Let Willis Go but still had Fred Jackson in his prime

Had Fred but drafted Lynch in 1st round

Had both Fred & Lynch but drafted Spiller in 1st round &
Traded Lynch for a bag of chips (4th rounder)

Then used 4th in trade for B.Brown
The Traded for McCoy and used 4th rounder on RB

Let Spiller & Fred Go & shopping B.Brown

                          Overall:
                          Spent 3 1st round picks, a 2nd round & 4th rounder in Draft
traded an all pro for a 4th
                          traded a 4th for a backup
traded an all pro lb for RB

That's called poor front office management.
Outside of about 10 yrs it has been the Bills way of doing things.
