Cool. Lafell was their 2nd leading WR.
And Reggie Wayne is requesting to be released by them.

Why is Reggie Wayne requesting to be released by the Patriots?

Which leads to the Patriots current team roster.

Danny Amendola and Julian Edelman are good wide receivers.

Edelman yes, but Amendola's nothing special. In his 2 years in Cheaterland, he's caught 81 passes for 833 yards and 3 TDs.
So the Pats are down to two 1000 yard receiving threats . . .
Amendola killed us on the 2013 opener. They'll someone to do it again.

The Patriots have proven time and time again that WR's are interchangeable in their system. This will make very little difference.

Both those guys are on IR for them.
I think Scott Chandler is going to play a pretty big role for them, especially early in the season before LaFell returns. They lost their fullback, so you are going to see a lot of double-TE looks.
