WGR has been the worst of the offenders. Only Sal seemed to have any clue as to what was really happening.

After the 3rd preseason game we had to endure the ridiculous speculation that Cassel was starting during the entire postgame show.
Even yesterday & today they were still clueless that Cassel was getting cut-Even after it was reported that Cassel was 3rd string in Friday's practice. The clowns, Bulldog included didn't even know when contracts become guaranteed for vested veterans-they thought it was today, in reality, that's one week off the real answer.
Anyone in the media who doesn't know no NFL team pays their 3rd stringer over $4 million doesn't belong in the media. Even today the dumb host was basically saying he'd be more comfortable with Cassel than EJ if Taylor isn't the starter at any point-This is AFTER Cassel is clearly behind EJ on the depth chart. He thinks he knows more than the depth chart. In the words of Sgt. Schultz-He knows nothing.

Sal C was in on Taylor very early, Chris Simms on CBS Sports said a week after his brother arrived here that Taylor would be starting. Obviously, his brother Matt told him how the coaches were seeing things.

Yet 95 % of the local simpletons disguised as sports reporters in print and on TV kept insisting it was clear Cassel was starting. :rolleyes:
