I'm going to guess he gets the same deal as Suh.

I'm gonna laugh at the Dolphins when he gets a deal like Suh's, considering they gave up Clay to get Suh and we're gonna end up with Clay and an expensive DT.

And you thought the Bills signing Clay would prevent the Bills from signing Dareus

6 years $110 million

That is also my guess with $60M guaranteed.

Dareus, please don't eat yourself out of the NFL and stay in good shape.

@AdamSchefter: Bills signed Marcel Dareus to a six-year, $108 million extension, per source.

Palatable if he plays like he did last season.

Spiked and I were off by $2 million... I'll have to wait until the guaranteed money comes out but Dareus agent should have been able to have gotten everything that Suh got

I just saw a scroll on NFLN that said it was exactly $60M guaranteed. It had the total at $100M not $108M.

I'm shocked that it didn't. But we had to lose Jackson and get Cassel to come back for $3 million less to make it happen.

ESPN said $60m guaranteed with $108m total for six years. Suh got $112 with $60 guaranteed?

The below includes the $8M guaranteed salary for 2015 option.
9/10/2015: Signed a seven-year, $116.06 million contract. The deal contains $60 million guaranteed.http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/6472/marcell-dareus

To be fair to the Dolphins (for some reason..), we were at a distinct advantage to be able to sign Clay and Dareus over them being able to sign Clay and Suh. Once they signed Suh, we could structure Clay's contract to cause cap hell for the Dolphins if they matched it. Then once we had Clay on our roster, we could structure Dareus' deal around Clay.

I'm pretty sure we used Suh's 2016 cap hit against the Dolphins when we signed Clay to his deal. I'd be willing to bet that Dareus' cap hit next year is small relative to what Suh and Clay's cap hit will be.
