The noise was roaring too loudly for Bill Belichick to ignore it any longer.

With Steelers coach Mike Tomlin’s suggestion of headset tampering adding to the laundry list of cheating allegations brewed by ESPN and Sports Illustrated earlier in the week, Belichick had heard enough.

“I just think overall, it’s kind of sad really, to see some stories obviously have an agenda to them with misinformation and anonymous-type comments,” he said during a conference call yesterday. “Complaining about warm drinks and trash cans and stuff like that, I think it’s a sad commentary and it’s gone to a pretty low level. It’s sunk pretty deep.”

omg i feel so bad for him

how horrible it must be to be accused of cheating - when this time you didnt do anything!

imagine all the effort these guys put into their many splendored ways of cheating, and then someone has the nerve to credit you with something you had nothing to do with! how disappointing that must feel

feeling cheated bill?

Lance Armstrong said the same kind of things. The lady doth protest too much, methinks.

He has made a specific point to bend rules as far as they will go in every facet of the game. Of course he doesn't get the benefit of the doubt.

bending?? lmao. playing games with eligible receivers is bending rules. taping signals and deflating balls so you fumble less are smashing the rules to smithereens
