All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

As soon as somebody starts to do a fair job of covering Gronkowski, then Brady will turn to Campbell. Everybody knows Brady likes to utilize two TEs. He didn't have to do that much vs Pittsburgh. And how much would the Patriots love to see Campbell get to scorch his own team. I hope they have adequate coverage for both guys.

I think he's going to target Butch Rolle myself.

I thought Gilmore was had on one pass, but otherwise thought "wow this guy is really coming along."
Is this the team of dreadlocks though?
Yes, I think the strategy is that the dreads are so long that one cannot see the number anymore and the offense gets confused.
Ok, that only works in case they have their back turned to the QB, but maybe now everybody works in trail technique.
Although this will make rushing the passer quite difficult
I would rather utilize Bradham and Brown to cover Gronk and Chandler than Gilmore. Gilmore needs to stay on Edelman. Also Aaron Williams needs to get his head in the game and read the seam route and make a play on the ball.

Makes me think of the old adage, "Be careful what you wish for."
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

I think Gilmore struggles with smaller, shiftier WRs. Roby on Edelman would be a good match.

I think in our current scheme which allows him to play on the line and jam we could see that improve. What makes Edelman so effective is his release and cuts, if you can neutralize his release through a jam then you take away part of his game. Gilmore's size and strength in our scheme should allow for that.
