Unless he can cover Gronkowski or Edelman, he gets a pass from me this week.

Breaking news: Dareus was so pissed off for having a null effect on the game that he rolled around in a giant pile of cash in his living room for the last hour. More at 11.

/sarcasm

I love the signing....just wish he had brought his A game today instead of his C game. I'm sure he'll be on a tear next week. If not, then I may start to worry about the Haynesworth Effect.

Interior DL's really are not stat stuffers. Good/great DT's don't pile up sacks or get team leading tackle #s. They occupy space and tie up linemen.

Not on like the Pats kept grinding out first downs by pounding the ball up the middle. Hell, their game plan appeared to be to abandon the run altogether. Dareus was not the issue today.

We'll see if his play drops some after signing, but I'm not concerned yet after only one game.

Kyle Williams couldn't get to Brady when he was unblocked.

Brady is playing better than he ever has, and got the ball out so quick today he took the Dline out of the game.

Especially since we couldn't cover.

You don't pay DT that disappeared the last 8 games of the season $108 million.

No. . Lets not be dumb here and blame all this on Dareus, I didnt see anyone else getting pressure either. It was his first game back, lets wait a couple games before we declare this a mistake. No need to over react. The same holds true with Suh and the dolphins, shouldnt rush to judegment in either.

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/09/21/ndamukong-suh-freelancing-part-of-dolphins-problem/

Yesterday’s loss to the Jaguars revealed a number of problems with the Dolphins, but perhaps most troubling is that their highest-paid player is already doing is own thing.
According to Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald, one of the problems yesterday was that star free agent defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh (http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/5593/ndamukong-suh)“strayed from [defensive coordinator] Kevin Coyle’s script (http://www.miamiherald.com/sports/nfl/miami-dolphins/article35922093.html).”

Suh looks more like he's headed down the Haynesworth path if there's any truth to him ignoring the defensive calls and playing his own game.

It still kind of amazes me how the Pats made an all pro line invisible and Ryan didn't see it coming how they could.

The comparison to Haynesworth is atrocious.

The Patriots ran the ball 15 times all game.

Tom Brady throws the ball in less than 2 seconds on average after the snap.

How in the hell is Marcell Dareus or anyone on the Bills defense supposed to get pressure on Brady in less than 2 seconds?

The Bills last 11 games.

IVE SAID IT A MILLIONS TIMES, DAREUS IS A GOOD PLAYER, IF HE WANTS TO BE HOF GREAT, HE NEEDS TO LOSE 30-40 LBS IMO... get down to 280ish, the guy would be bruce like... thats on him. there is absolutley no reason for him to have that belly....

Actually, Suh is the clone of Fat Albert. He's already ignoring the coaches and freelancing in Miami, according to reports.

If it happens, could we call it the Fitzpatrick Effect? :)

If Dareus wants to be like Bruce, he'd have to change positions. Bruce was a DE, and Dareus is a DT...world of difference. His size helps him do his job. You know what his job is, right?

Dareus is a first-team All-Pro from last year. Losing 30-40 pounds is the worst thing he could do.
