    Darby vs. Revis

    Interesting article.

Darrelle Revis: 132 snaps, 8 of 15 targets caught for a 53.3% ct, 14 yards/catch, one interception and held QB’s to an NFL rating of 49.9.
Ronald Darby: 121 snaps, 9 of 17 targets caught for a 52.9% ct, 10.7 yards/catch, one interception and held QB’s to an NFL rating of 45.2.
Also mentions that Darby has been flagged 3 times with Revis none, so Darby still has plenty to learn. But not nearly as bad as his preseason indicated it would be.

We could call it Jurassic Park. (Darby the dinosaur etc.)

Show the end of season stats then I'll get excited.

wow, we (myself included) are a fickle bunch...

we have gone from 'Darby is a bust and is worse than Chris Watson' to 'check out how he compares favorably to Darrelle Revis.'
          I came.
          I saw.
          I conquered.

That holding penalty when we sacked Brady was a gamekiller. But he has held his own.

I'm actually very high on Darby. Yes he has been targeted a lot but from what I've seen he's always been in close coverage but occasionally he lacks ball awareness. Coverage technique and ability is there, just needs a little more experience.

People can draw their own conclusions about what it means. Stop pretending that posting a statistical comparison means we're shifting all our opinions from rock bottom to sky high. Given how much people trashed him in preseason, it's worth noting that he has done well through two games against two top NFL QB's.
